91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÔÚÏß, a leader in educating mental health professionals and the largest graduate psychology program in New England, today announced Dr. Stacey Lambert has been named the chair of the school's Department of Clinical Psychology. Lambert will continue in her position as Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs at William James College as she assumes her new role. As chair of the school's flagship department, she will be responsible for reporting to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, while leading and supporting faculty in best practices in pedagogies. She will also assist in faculty recruitment, professional development, contracting and teaching.

"Dr. Lambert's diverse resume, which includes stints as a research scientist, APA site visitor and consultant, makes her well-qualified to assume the wide range of responsibilities this role entails," said Nicholas Covino, PsyD, president of 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÔÚÏß . "As 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÔÚÏß continues to serve the Greater Boston community, we look forward to leveraging Dr. Lambert's expertise in community mental health."

Dr. Lambert joined 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÔÚÏß in September 2010 as Director of Diversity Education and Inclusion as well as the Associate Director of Operations for the Clinical PsyD program. In September 2012 she was appointed the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs for the school, and she has also served as the Interim Chair of the Clinical program. Prior to joining 91Ï㽶ÊÓƵ³ÉÈËÔÚÏß , Dr. Lambert served as an Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern University and the Director of Internship training for the Nova Psychological Services Center and the Nova Consortium. She completed her pre-doctoral internship and post- doctoral fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and earned her doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern.
