Dr. Jessie Gaeta, Chief Medical Officer at Boston Health Care for the Homeless, was featured in Boston Public Radio to discuss her efforts to ameliorate the opioid crisis in Massachusetts. In early April, Dr. Gaeta's trial clinic will provide those who are homeless and struggling with opioid addiction with preventive care and treatment. Dr. Gaeta tells WGBH, "The mission is not to support or condone drug use...but rather to make it less dangerous and to save lives, and to also develop relationships that might lead to treatment down the line."
